REAL WEDDING : JINAL & RAJIV - LANGHAM PASADENA

It was a beautiful spring day at the Langham Huntington in Pasadena where we were able to design and coordinate Jinal and Rajiv’s breathtaking wedding. This couple had such fun and sweet personalities and were visibly excited to get married and throw an amazing party for their friends and family visiting from all over.

Teaming up with the incredible designers at Shawna Yamamoto Events we started the design process with conversations about the bride and grooms overall vision. She loved a beautiful palace garden design while he wanted nothing more than to have a reception under the trees. Together we designed the different spaces to incorporate both visions. The mandap was set on the main lawn with the picturesque hotel as the perfect backdrop for the palace garden feel. Gates adorned with greenery and pops of yellow and white florals and the dramatic runway with marble accents and greenery flowing down the aisle created the palace garden aesthetic the couple envisioned.

Following the traditional Indian ceremony, guests were surprised when they walked into the reception ballroom and had oversized magnificent “trees” cascading over the stage and tables.

Guests enjoyed an evening full of delicious food and dancing and a truly intimate ambiance throughout the day even though there was well over 400 guests. Jinal and Rajiv were able to sneak into the ballroom before guests arrived to enjoy a few sweet moments alone before the reception started. They danced the night away under a canopy of lush greenery and gorgeous crystal chandeliers and surrounded by all their loved ones. It was truly a spectacular wedding weekend!
