The full service resort offers both indoor and outdoor spaces that are fit for an intimate wedding as well as a large scale Indian Wedding & Reception. As wedding designers & planners we love Monarch Beach resort as it provides a great foundation to build upon when creating for our bride and groom’s California Wedding and Reception. We absolutely love the Hall of Mirrors and the Grand Staircase as it exemplifies the grandeur and beauty of the resort and provides the best location for our bride and groom’s couple, bridal party and family photos.
The Waldorf Astoria Monarch Beach Resort is a dream wedding destination for many bride and grooms. This luxurious ocean view resort is located on the Pacific Coast in Dana Point and is known to be the “Best O.C. Resort” as awarded by the Orange County Register. The resort offers a private beach which is perfect for our bride and groom’s sunset photos. The entire resort offers a beautiful romantic atmosphere with lots of natural lighting throughout which lends itself for some gorgeous wedding photos.
Whether you are looking for an indoor or outdoor wedding venue to host your intimate ceremony or large scale wedding reception the Monarch Beach Resort can accommodate your special occasion with one of its many versatile spaces. The Grand Lawn offers outstanding views of the Pacific Ocean in the background and can accommodate up to 300 guests. If you’re looking for a smaller ceremony space for a more intimate wedding, the Botanical Garden can accommodate up to 120 guests. The Botanical Garden is a Mediterranean-style garden that has a picturesque marble gazebo as it’s centerpiece and offers views of both the ocean and the lush green golf course in the background. The Botanical Lawn is an expansive outdoor large space that provides the perfect space for a wedding or grand reception. The private Pacific Lawn boasts a grand rotunda structure simply perfect for any type and size of Wedding Ceremony.
The indoor venues at Monarch Beach Resort are elegant and capture the beauty and grandeur of the the landscape that surrounds it. For large-size Indian Weddings, the Pacific Ballroom is the largest ballroom on the resort property that holds up to 700 guests. The sophisticated architecture of the Pacific Ballroom is a stunning canvas for your dream Wedding Reception. The Monarch Ballroom, located off the main lobby, is an elegant 5,800 square foot ballroom designed with dignified columns and upholstered walls with soft greens and gold. For a smaller guest count, we recommend you check out Club 19 that can accommodate up to 120 people. This venue is unique for its indoor/outdoor space that allows you to see the ocean and the Monarch Beach Golf Links when you’re outdoors on the terrace and for dinner and dancing guests can come into the intimate indoor area.
